Accessibility and usability barriers
The following information is provided to help people with disabilities know what potential barriers may exist.
Some elements are difficult to use or cannot be accessed by keyboard or screen readers.
Users who rely on keyboard-only navigation and who use screen readers or other assistive technology will be unable to access some elements in the product, such as listboxes, toggle buttons, and some checkboxes. Accessing the editing toolbar for rich text fields requires the use of custom keyboard shortcuts.
Missing or improper form field labels, poor heading structure, and lack of alt text will cause difficulties for people using a screen reader.
The product has many pages with missing headings or skipped heading levels, and data visualizations lack meaningful alt text or extended image descriptions. Some survey questions lack associated labels for form fields.
Color contrast barriers may cause difficulties for people who are colorblind or have low vision.
The product has many instances of low color contrast in text, buttons, and other elements throughout the application. When attempting to submit a form with errors, there is initially a dialog that lists the errors, but after it is closed, color alone is used to indicate which fields have errors.
Magnification barriers may cause difficulties for people with low vision.
The interface does not reflow well when magnified. Interactive elements misalign and crash into each other on many pages. Horizontal scrolling is required on some pages at 150% magnification.
