Instructions for applying and enrolling in Kinesiology 125- Adapted Fitness course as a Guest or Senior Guest Auditor.

Before applying:

You must contact Tim Gattenby, the Adapted Physical Education Coordinator for the Department of Kinesiology, he can be reached at 608-262-9562 or gattenby@education.wisc.edu.  Once you have met with and/or spoken to Tim Gattenby, complete the steps below.

Application and Enrollment Instructions: 

Guest auditors (UGST) (under age 60)

  • Apply using the University Special Student online application (preferred) (please use Firefox browser), or complete and return the University Special and Guest Student (UGST) paper application: usgap_revised_may2013.pdf to Adult Career and Special Student Services Office ACSSS (see address and contact information at the bottom of this web page or at the top of the paper application).
  • If you are receiving SSDI or SSI, you may audit this course tuition free.  Please send a copy of your SSDI benefits letter to our office (see address and contact info at the bottom of the web page) so that we can waive the fees for you. If you do not have a copy, you can obtain one or request one through the Social Security Administration here.
  • Enrollment: Once you receive your letter of admission, make sure to contact Tim Gattenby and provide him with your campus ID number (found on your letter of admission). Our office will enroll you in Kinesiology 125.

    Senior guest auditors (UGSR) (age 60+)

  • Apply using the University Special student online application (preferred) (please use Firefox browser), or complete and return the following paper application UGSR_application_7_15.pdf to Adult Career and Special Student Services Office (see address at bottom of this web page).
  • Enrollment: Once you receive your letter of admission from Adult Career and Special Student Services (ACSSS), contact Tim Gattenby and provide him with your campus ID number (found on your letter of admission). Our office will enroll you in Kinesiology 125.
