The meeting was called to order at 2:01 p.m.

Motion to Convene in Closed Session Pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(c), and (f) to Discuss Nominations to the Vice Chancellor for University Relations Search and Screen Committee (Stoddard Cameron). Seconded. Approved.

Motion to Reconvene in Open Session (Stoddard Cameron). Seconded. Approved.

Business

• Nominations – for vote

Motion to nominate Tina Nielsen, Tricia Nolan, Heather L. Reese, Laila Robbins, and Heidi Zoerb to the Vice Chancellor for University Relations Search and Screen Committee (Stoddard Cameron). Seconded. Approved.

• May Assembly Agenda

ASEC reviewed the draft agenda for May, and will invite the Office of Human Resources to present at the September Assembly meeting.

• Meetings Debrief and Priorities Update

ASEC discussed the recent Assembly meeting and the Universities of Wisconsin Academic Staff Representatives Council policy prioritization process.

• Topics for Guests

Provost: graduate stipends; engaging remote staff; charges for ad hoc committees on academic staff professorial titles

Patrick Kass: Vet Med parking garage solar project
