1.      PD Grants: Stephanie J.

-Jake and Heather from Secretaries Office visit: to establish deadlines for PD grants, Excellence Awards, and possibly the Executive Ed grants for 2016-17 and preliminary dates for 2017-18.  (would like to try make this a new practice or at least try it once and see what happens)

-Future planning: Consider revising review sheet/scoring to match with applicant question/responses

 

2. Awards: Jeff B.

- Fall 2016 planning

-explore: asking the VP for Teaching and Learning to announce the academic staff teaching awards

-Link to past award winner UW communication stories

-University Staff Honor Roll

-change wording to provide more details on award scope/intent
