How to Request Access to Eloqua Profiler

This document will demonstrate how to request access to the Eloqua Profiler plugin in Salesforce

Although our data flows one-way from Salesforce to Eloqua to fuel our outbound marketing communications, we’re able to view an individual’s engagement with our messages through the Eloqua Profiler tool that is embedded in our Salesforce Contacts object.

Because Eloqua is separate software, we must sign the Eloqua User Compliance Form in order to gain access to Eloqua Profiler. Most fields on the form are self explanatory except for two areas. First, here is a screenshot of what to put in Reason for Submitting this Form: "Nathan Trick requested tha tI fill this form out to gain access to Profiler in Salesforce". They really like Nathan over in the Eloqua office (as do we!) so ask that we include his name.
A screenshot that says: Reason for Submitting This Form. In a box below are the words: Nathan Trick has requested that I fill this form out to gain access to Profiler in Salesforce".

Second, you must request access to Profiler in the Access Level section.

Like Salesforce, Eloqua charges a per-person license fee. Thus, if you do not use Eloqua Profiler often you may find that you have lost access; they sweep fairly regularly and take away licenses for those who have not logged in for 90 or more days. If you previously gained access to Eloqua Profiler by signing their user agreement but then have lost access, we recommend that you connect with the Eloqua team on Microsoft Teams; they provide a link on their Eloqua Support Page.
