Campaign List Views

This document will outline how to navigate list views in the Salesforce Campaigns object.

Campaign List Views

Salesforce stores our data by object types, such as Contacts or Campaigns, which appear as navigational tabs across the top of the Recruiting app. Each object has a drop down menu offering a search bar and data tables. We call these list views, and they contain a ton of valuable information and tools that help you manage your work.

While you can access list views in any object, Campaigns list views are the most applicable for recruitment work. Campaign list views can be a very effective way to get a quick snapshot of recruitment data.

Screenshot of the Campaigns tab in the Recruiting App. The down-arrow of the drop-down list on the Campaigns page is depressed. visible is a search bar, a header that reads "recent List Vews", and three list names: All Active Campaigns, Emilie's Campaigns, and Recetly Viewed (Penned list). There is a check mark next to Recetly Viewed (pinned list).

Some templates are available by opening the campaign list menu and scrolling down to All Other Lists.

Two template lists may be relevant to your work
List Name Descriptor
UGADM - Event Representative or Owner A template you can use to make a list of your campaigns
UGADM - Events This Month All external sponsored events and school/org visits not in declined status, occurring in whatever month you are viewing the list

How to Create a List View of Your Campaigns provides step-by-step instructions for using the UGADM - Event Representative or Owner to create your own list. Once you are comfortable with building list views, you may want to use the UGADM - Events This Month template to customize other lists. The list views you build will only be visible to you. If you discover a list view that you'd like to share,  work through your Associate Director to connect with the Salesforce Administrator (Nathan Trick), who can build a list view that is visible across the team.
