Recruitment Trip Campaigns

This document will outline Recruitment Trip Campaigns.

Recruitment Trips are top-level in our recruitment campaign hierarchy. We use Recruitment Trips to organize an individual’s recruitment efforts. Grouping recruitment activity into Recruitment Trips will allow you to see everything you’re doing in a specific time period.

Each Recruitment Trip has two tabs: Details and Related, as well as the Chatter and Activity pane on the right.

Details Tab

The Details tab contains all the data sections included in the Recruitment Trip. They are:

  • High Level Details: Recruitment Region, Campaign Name, Parent Campaign (optional), Status, Status Feedback, and Campaign Owner
  • Trip Details: Start & End Dates, Departure Location, Total Days of Trip, Number of Days Recruiting, and Trip Justification
  • Anticipated Trip Expenses: Anticipated Total Cost, Anticipated Airfare, Anticipated Lodging, Anticipated Car Rental/Fleet/Mileage, Anticipated Rideshare Costs, Anticipated Parking Costs, Anticipated Meals Per Diem, Anticipated Visa Costs, Anticipated Shipping Costs, Anticipated Additional Expenses, and Itemized Anticipated Additional Costs 
  • Flight/Car/Hotel Information: Inbound Flight Numbers, Outbound Flight Numbers, Hotel Information, Car Rental Confirmation Number
  • Post Trip Details: Expense Report ID, Actual Total Cost, Actual Airfare Cost, Actual Lodging Costs, Actual Car Rental/Fleet/Mileage Cost, Actual Rideshare Costs, Actual Parking Costs, Actual Meal Per Diem, Actual Visa Costs, Actual Immunization Costs, Actual Shipping Costs, Actual Total Additional Costs, and Itemized Actual Additional Costs
  • System Information, including campaign record type, created by, and last modified by information

Recruitment Regions

Recruitment regions help us ensure recruitment trips are reviewed by the appropriate recruitment lead.

Status Options

Status options help you, your recruitment lead, and office leadership stay abreast of recruitment activity. 

Recruiting Trip Status Descriptions
Status Descriptor
Tentative Remains in this status until you are ready to send the trip to the recruitment lead for review
Pending Approval Has been submitted to the applicable recruitment lead and is under review
Approved Approved; check the Status Feedback field for any accompanying comments
Declined Not approved; check the Status Feedback field for any accompanying comments
Change Needed Not approved and action needed; check the Status Feedback field for any accompanying comments
Completed All child campaigns within the Recruiting Trip, including their Post Trip Management sections, have been completed and the Post Trip Details portion has been finalized

The Related tab has links to records associated with the Recruitment Trip. They include: 

  • Notes
  • Campaign Members
  • Campaign Hierarchy
  • Campaign Field History
  • Files
