RSO-Software - EMS

This document outlines steps for setting up EMS on a user's account.

Notes

  • EMS stands for Event Management System and is used by a few people in the RSO environment, primarily the SAC.

  • It is a SEAM managed service and any requests besides installation and setup should be elevated to them.

  • Obtain the EMS software at EMS Desktop Client - Windows Installation (does not require admin credentials)

How to Set Up EMS

  1. Contact SEAM and request for EMS to be pushed to the computer

    • Provide the full computer name and department the computer is for

  2. Log into the computer with the customer

  3. Connect to University internet or Global Protect

  4. Launch EMS

  5. A screen will pop up requesting an AppFacade URL

  6. The user can now use EMS on the computer as long as they know their account information
