Background

EiS is a third party tool DoIT purchased to fulfill a need for reporting from CBS. EiS can be accessed either: 1) directly from the CBS application or 2) by using Excel plugins (XL connect and GL connect).

Requesting Authorization to Use EiS

To be authorized to use EiS you will need to send the following information to: cbs-support@g-groups.wisc.edu

Please copy and paste this information into an email and update with your responses.

Name: Department: Role (i.e., manager, project manager, business specialist): Do you currently have a CBS Account (Yes/No)? If so, what is your user ID? If not, what is your NetID? Please indicate the data that you need access to: General Ledger (financial statements and associated detail) Projects If you are also interested in data from the following areas, please describe what you would like to see. We will get back to you to explore how to provide what you are interested in. We don’t currently have reports for widespread use developed in these areas.
