Help Desk - Parking Application Procedure
Logging in to the Parking Website
-
The UW Transportation Services Application website can be accessed by clicking either "Permit Application System (PAS)" or "Purchase a Parking Permit" (red buttons) at Permit Types and Permit Information. You may have to scroll to find the most appropriate button.
-
Once logged in with a NetID and password, you should see instructions on how to submit an application. Find more information about parking passes at the Transportation Services Homepage.
Help Desk Internal Note: The Help Desk provides best effort support only for the parking application. If a user is having trouble and they are logged in successfully, they will need to contact their Parking Coordinator.
Troubleshooting Parking Log-In
If the you are unable to log into the parking application website but can log into other NetID related services (such as Outlook or MyUW), please contact your Unit Transportation Coordinator.
Hospital Employees (without University affiliation):
As of 2019, Hospital employees who are not UW faculty, staff, or students use their UWHealth credentials to apply for parking instead of a NetID.
-
Hospital employees should use the UW Health login to apply for parking instead of the NetID login. Employees can apply on the transportation services page (Permit Types and Permit Information) under the Permit Purchases section by clicking the Purchase a Parking Permit (EBusiness Portal) button.
-
When clicking the Employee or Student Login button on the next page, users are prompted with both a NetID or UWHealth sign-on. Hospital Employees should use their UW Health credentials to log in.
If a Hospital Employee does not know their UW Health credentials or has any issues logging in with the UW Health portal, please contact the UW Health Help Desk (608-265-7777).
Account Recovery
If the user forgot their NetID and/or password and is not a UW Health employee, standard NetID reset procedures apply:
- If they do not know their Photo ID number (commonly referred to as Campus ID), they may go to the Wiscard office. Note: the Wiscard office will not give out any information over the phone, so the customer will need to go there in person to obtain their Wiscard Photo ID number. Do not refer them to their HR department!
- The user may come to the Service Desk with a picture ID to have their NetID password reset.
- Last Resort Only: The user may contact Melanie Drolsum in the Office of Human Resources at 265-3912. In cases where Melanie is completely unavailable (e.g. on leave), Valery Jackson can be contacted at 890-2349.
