Freshmen who plan to study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison this fall should confirm their enrollment no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific daylight time) on Thursday, May 1, 2014. Students can log in to the My UW portal to accept their offer of admission and pay the $100 deposit.

Follow the checklist on our admitted student webpage to keep track of these important next steps:

SECURING UNIVERSITY HOUSING
Access the My UW Housing portal on the housing website to manage contract deadlines and housing preferences. Questions about University Housing can be emailed to assignme@housing.wisc.edu.

FINANCING YOUR EDUCATION
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have submitted the FAFSA, can anticipate receiving a financial aid package from the Office of Student Financial Aid by email.

SIGNING UP FOR SOAR
Freshman students who have submitted an enrollment confirmation should reference their placement testing email announcement and follow the instructions. Once placement testing is confirmed, students will be eligible to sign up to attend the Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program. Details about SOAR will come from the Center for the First-Year Experience.

As we look forward to welcoming our incoming class of Badgers this Fall, the Office of Admissions and Recruitment can assist admitted students by phone at 608-262-3961 or email.
