To add funding information, in the Funding section of the protocol, under "1. Funding Source", select the Add button to search for the funding: 

This will open a window that will allow you to search for funding in the database.

You can search the database by using the PI Name filter and entering the last name OR last name, first name. If you are not the primary individual on the award, the funding may be listed under a different individual.

If searching by PI Name yields too many entries, you can also search using the Funding Number, Project Title, Sponsor Reference Number, Project ID, or Sponsor filters. Searching by funding number can yield the best results.

Funding number can be MSN numbers, AWD numbers, PRJ numbers, or other funds such as 144, 135, etc. numbers. Project IDs can be PRJ numbers or other funds such as 144, 135, etc. numbers.

If you still cannot find the necessary funding item in the database after searching using the PI Name, Funding Number, Project ID, and Source ID filters, you will be able to add the funding in question "2. Funding Not in List" on the main Funding Page.
