Interested in upholding equity? Promoting diversity? Making UW-Madison a more inclusive environment to many? Make sure to be a part of the change and join the Justice, Equity & Belonging Committee!
Justice, Equity & Belonging Committee (J.E.B.), is one of the four open committees under the Associated Students of Madison (ASM). Just like its name, we advocate and work with social justice, inclusivity, and diversity matters across campus. As a committee, we will organize grass-root campaigns to address those matters on campus, and to ensure that UW-Madison is always putting its maximum effort in promoting inclusivity. We also serve as a liaison between various of organizations on campus who shares the same goal, concern, and ideas about social justice and inclusivity. In addition to that, we also work a lot with the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC), Multicultural Student Center (MSC), International Student Service (ISS), and many other centers on campus.
The goal of this committee is to mainly become a platform of idea exchange between student body, faculty, staff and administration on topics about inclusivity, and how as the member of the community we can take part through advocating for changes.
