Graduate School Dean's Advisory Council

Committee Description

The Council provides advice and input to the Dean of the Graduate School on academic matters facing graduate students across campus. The intent is that the Council membership will be broadly representative of students from PhD and master’s degree programs in all the disciplines. Four students are selected through Associated Students of Madison (ASM) shared governance and eight directly by the Graduate School. UW-Madison has 100 PhD programs and over 165 master’s degree programs encompassing a wide breadth of academic specialties.
