MEDIA BULLETIN: WEEK OF APRIL 8

General:

• Student Services Finance Committee: will not meet this week.

• Legislative Affairs Committee: will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Student Activity Center Caucus Room to talk about UW Lobby Day and the Natatorium Building Project.

• Equity and Inclusion Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room for “Trans Talk Tuesday,” an event with a student panel discussing transgender and gender non-conforming identities and experiences.

• Grant Allocation Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room for travel and event grant hearings.

• Sustainability Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room to focus on the committee’s straw campaign and roll-out the outreach campaign for Earth Week.

• Student Activity Center Governing Board: will meet on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Room 4001 of the SAC to work on changes in Standing Rules.

• Student Council: will meet for the last time of the session on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room and will hear from Director of Recreational Sports John Horn.

• Mental Health Subcommittee: will meet on Friday at 4 p.m. in the ASM Internal Conference Room (Room 4301 of the SAC) and will be joined by Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Lori Reesor.
