Virtual Event On Disability History at UW To Celebrate the 30th Year Anniversary of the ADA
The Public History Project, McBurney Disability Resource Center, ADA30 Student Coalition, and the Associated Students of Madison are partnering to co-host a virtual event to celebrate the 30th year anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event's mission is to showcase the history of disability in our campus community and explore how this is continually being uncovered through the UW Archives. By promoting awareness of our campus' history through this event, we hope to facilitate inclusion for students with disabilities.
