Campus Relations / ASM

Campus Relations is one of the five open committees and is in charge of outreach and media for the Associated Students of Madison (ASM). This committee organizes a variety of events during the academic school year to recruit new students, keep the student body informed, and enable the student body to have their voices heard. Recruitment is done through tabling at various organization fairs such as the Fall/Spring Organization Fair and SOAR. Townhalls are organized to facilitate dialogue between students and administrators about student, campus, city issues. Workshops are also organized at the request of Registered Student Organizations (RSO) about grassroots organizing and current topics being worked on in ASM. The media side of Campus Relations focuses more on social media, press releases, and acting as the point of contact for news organizations.
