Campus Transportation Committee

Committee Description


The Campus Transportation Committee reviews and recommends budgetary and operational decisions made by UW Transportation Services, including all aspects of pedestrian and motorized and non-motorized vehicular transportation and parking on the campus. The Campus Transportation Committee meets on the 2nd Friday of the month from 8:30-10:00am. All student appointees to the Campus Transportation Committee also automatically sit on the Student Transportation Board. This board maintains oversight of the student bus pass program and the SAFE programs, which include no-fare evening campus bus routes and SAFEwalk. The board also negotiates program budgets and services with the City of Madison, Madison Metro Transit and UW–Madison Division of Campus Transportation Services. The board is composed of the SSFC Vice Chair, one additional SSFC member, two Student Council members, and the student appointees to the Campus Transportation Committee.
