Canvas - Invalid Client Error in LTI Tools (5/1/26)

Users may be experiencing issues accessing LTI tools, such as Atomic Assessments, TidyUP, etc., and receiving the error message: {"error":"invalid_client","error_description":"unknown client"}

This issue has been reported to Instructure (Canvas vendor), and their technologists are currently working on correcting the problem.

Instructure has posted to their status page on this issue here. We will update this news item with more information when it's available.
