Special Notices

• ASM will host New People New Voices, an event centered around social justice activism on campus, on Tuesday, March 5 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the 1924 Reception Room of Memorial Union. The event will consist of break-out sessions from organizations on campus, with Associate Dean of Students, Antoinette “Bonnie” Candia-Bailey, as the main speaker.

General:

• Legislative Affairs Committee: will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Student Activity Center Caucus Room to give lobbying updates and to strategize about the state budget.

• Shared Governance Committee: will not meet this week because of New People New Voices.

• Equity and Inclusion Committee: will not meet this week because of New People New Voices.

• Grant Allocation Committee: will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room for travel and event grant hearings.

• Sustainability Committee: will meet after New People New Voices on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the SAC Caucus Room to work on campaigns.

• Student Activity Center Governing Board: will meet on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Room 4001 of the SAC to go over application questions and discuss the waitlist.

• Coordinating Council: will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room for a leadership, development and conflict resolution presentation, and to give campaign updates.

• Student Services Finance Committee: will meet on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the SAC Hearing Room to discuss policy changes.
