Update on recent 'Enable multifactor authentication for your Azure tenant by 21 September 2026' emails.

On Friday, September 18, many Azure customers received the email below.

Multifactor authentication using Duo is already required to access https://portal.azure.com and we're working with Microsoft Support to learn more about why the emails were sent. No action is required on the part of Azure users.
