Common Issues with AppsAnywhere

Some common issues you may experience with AppsAnywhere

Software isn't showing up in the AppsAnywhere Portal.  

  • Some programs are components of a larger software package.  When this happens, the larger piece of the software will need to be launched first through AppsAnywhere.  Once it virtiualizes and launches, the component programs will appear in the Start Menu.  Examples of this are:

    • QuestaSim.  Quartus Prime needs to be launched from AppsAnywhere, then Questa will appear in the Start Menu:

      QuestaSim

      • 1. open up AppsAnywhere and search up "Quartus" then launch it

            AppsAnywhere Portal

      • 2. Click the Windows button on the bottom of the screen and then type in "Questa" 
            Click on the windows button and then type in "Questa"

      • 3. Click open and you should be able to launch Questa.
