there is a scheduled network outage early Saturday morning for the CAE building
There will be a short network outage in the early morning of Saturday February 23rd. This outage will begin at 5:30 a.m. and should be over by 5:50 a.m. There is a possibility that the outage will last until 10:00 a.m. if the planned changes can not be successfully implemented, but all services should be restored by that time.
During this time there will be no network connectivity in the entire CAE building. This includes all CAE lab computers in that building (rooms 160, 170, 175 and 187), but should have no impact on other CAE labs. In addition, the CAE remote desktop servers (tsc.cae.wisc.edu) will be unavailable. If you are working on a computer that will be affected, please be sure to log out prior to 5:30 a.m. to avoid losing your work.
