Wireless Network Access

How to use the wireless network and get guest accounts:

Wireless computing within the College of Engineering is part of the campus-wide wireless network. This network is available to anyone with a NetID and password.

Users with a NetID

If you have a valid NetID, you can connect to the wireless network UWNet simply by opening a web browser. The browser will default to an authentication page. Enter your NetID and password (note that you do not use your CAE login name and password). This will check your credentials and allow you access to the campus-wide wireless network. You can also connect to the eduroam network.

Eduroam Users

Users from another school that participate with eduroam should be able to connect the same way with their NetID without issue.

Guest Users

Users without a NetID can connect to the UWnet network as a guest. Directions for logging on as a guest can be viewed here.
