Re-entry After Being Dropped
The following explains the process for returning to UW-Madison after being dropped due to poor academic standing.
Students who are dropped for one semester are required to apply for re-entry admission and receive permission from an academic dean in order to return to the university. Students who are dropped for one year are required to apply for re-entry admission and appear before the Scholastic Policies and Actions Committee (SPAC). Students should review this document.
