Effective 1 September 2025, the department no longer has spaces to reserve in Lot 40. 

Options for PERSONAL parking—that you obtain yourself--include

• Purchasing a ½ day or full day pass from Transportation Services.  Please see the webpage for more information: https://transportation.wisc.edu/visitor-parking/  
• Check the hourly parking availability in various campus gated lots on this page:  https://transportation.wisc.edu/parking-lots/lot-occupancy-count/
• If you know in advance that you need a daily or half-day permit, you purchase one ahead of time.  You can either use the daily permit order form, or call Special Events at 608-262-8683 - allow 2 weeks for processing.  

There are options for GUEST parking.  Please see Jillene Fisch in 384 Moore Hall or email jrfisch@wisc.edu, AT LEAST TWO WEEKS before parking is needed.  The following form will help facilitate this process:
