CCAS is a campus-wide advising service designed for:
1) students who are undecided about a program of study or a major;
2) students considering a change of major;
3) students seeking a better understanding of the relationship of their interests, possible majors, and career options; or,
4) students who were denied acceptance into a professional program (such as business, education, or pharmacy) and need to explore other options.

CCAS advisors are knowledgeable about all the programs and majors offered by the nine undergraduate schools and colleges on campus, but will refer to advisors in particular schools, colleges, and departments when students need more detailed information. Advisors offer developmental and cross-college advising.

CCAS advisors provide:
-Evening advising appointments at Ingraham Hall during registration periods
-Evening presentations in residence units
-Outreach to specific programs, schools and colleges

Academic advisors from Cross College Advising Service also maintain offices in Sellery Hall, Witte Hall, Djope Hall (serving all Lakeshore halls), Ogg Hall and Chadbourne Residential College.

A service of Cross College Advising Service, the Career Exploration Center offers materials for students to learn about majors and career options; career counseling; computer-based tests to match interests to careers; internship information; and career videos. (See Career Exploration Center record for list of workshops.)
