The Child Care Tuition Assistance Program (CCTAP) enables low-income student parents (enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Madison) with children ages birth-12 years to receive financial assistance to help purchase quality, regulated child care while they are studying or working outside their homes.

Funds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and when program eligibility factors are met.

Child care grants to 200-300 student parents (who are enrolled at UW-Madison) each semester and 100 parents each summer session. CCTAP awards are based on student/family information but the average CCTAP award covers 30-40% of child care costs per term.

Please call for an appointment!

Applications for assistance are released online 4-5 weeks before the term begins, and they must be filled out for each term. Applications cannot be processed until you have a confirmed space at an approved childcare provider.
