The International Engineering Studies Program (IESP) prepares UW-Madison engineering students to study abroad and receives international exchange students coming to study at the College of Engineering.
With more than 20 programs, including many with instruction in English, IESP helps students gain flexibility, adaptability, confidence and cross cultural skills for the job market and fulfill desires for adventure and learning.
Their web site offers information for students who are considering applying to study abroad, those who are preparing to attend programs abroad, those who are currently abroad and those who have returned from their overseas programs.
The web site also provides resources on academics abroad, financial preparation, scholarships and the Certificate in International Engineering, a credential that assists students on the job market.
In addition, the ESP website provides information for professors and advisors as well as for parents and sponsors of UW students planning to study abroad or already studying abroad. Finally, it serves international engineering students coming to the UW for a semester or a year as part of an exchange program.
The office of International Engineering Studies & Programs also administers the Neale Silva scholarship for Chilean students who wish to attend UW-Madison.
