The University of Wisconsin-Madison E-Business Consortium (UWEBC) is Wisconsin's leading organization that helps companies gain a competitive advantage through collaborative learning. Since 1998, the UWEBC has brought together executives, managers and senior practitioners from leading companies to learn from each other. More than 75 member companies tap into world-class university resources and the collective experiences of this B2B and B2C group to address and share strategic best practices, lessons learned and emerging trends. UWEBC members are world-class companies from a broad range of industries, which facilitates cross-pollination of innovative ideas.
The UWEBC focuses on four main areas of business: customer service, information technology, marketing and supply chain management. Membership resources, including more than 50 events a year, member-to-member advising and online learning assets, are open available to executives and managers in all areas of member companies. Additionally, the consortium hosts the Business Best Practices & Emerging Technologies Conference every fall. This event, held at Monona Terrace, draws more than 800 attendees, the largest business and technology gathering in the state of Wisconsin.
