The Wisconsin Historical Museum is located on Madison's Capitol Square and is full of wonderful information about the state's rich history. Explore Wisconsin's distinctive heritage and a variety of other American history topics through artifacts, photographs, full-scale dioramas, audio-visual presentations, and interactive multimedia programs.

Museum staff offer free tours to visitors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. These short tours go beyond what is on display, offering facts and stories that you won't find in the exhibits! Meet at the front desk around 2:00 p.m. Themes change monthly. Museum admission is by donation:

$5 for Adults (18+)
$3 for Kids (5-17)
FREE for Kids 4 and under
FREE for Members
