Wisconsin Singers is a group of singers, dancers, band members, tech staff, and non-performing student staff who take great pride in training UW students in business management and the art of American popular music, while ensuring that concert sponsors and audiences are always treated to a professional quality entertainment event.
Since its founding in 1967, hundreds of students have participated in this internationally renowned troupe, and many have gone on to perform in theme parks across the world as well as on Broadway and in television. The Wisconsin Singers not only trains musicians and technicians, but also involves students each year in administrative staff positions. Students are involved in the management of the troupe using their academic expertise to coordinate touring arrangements, public relations and marketing layout and design, business management, patron drives and many other management details.
Wisconsin Singers is a program of the Division of Student Life.
