CHM Meeting & Events - CHM Speaker Series

A summary of the CHM Speaker Series including how to host someone.

Launched in November of 2020, The Center for Healthy Minds Speaker Series focuses on featuring scholars who identify as members of populations that have been marginalized by academia. Through developing relationships and broadening networks, we aim to expand the breadth of the Center for Healthy Minds' work toward our mission to cultivate well-being and relieve suffering for all people.

Anyone can add potential candidates to the list by editing the first page of the spreadsheet linked below. SciLAD ranks all suggestions and selects the top 10 for preferential invitation to the series on a roughly yearly basis. If you are interested in hosting a speaker or have any other questions email Brendon Panke (bjpanke@wisc.edu).

Current list of candidates

The list can be reviewed or added to on the first page of this google spreadsheet. You can see upcoming speakers on the CHMI Community Google Calendar or the second sheet of the linked spreadsheet. The third page has past speakers and links to recordings of their talks where available.

Past Speakers

Many of the past talks can be viewed on this playlist on our youtube channel. Contact Brendon Panke (bjpanke@wisc.edu) before sharing any videos outside of the CHMI Community.
