Psychology 621

Psych 621 Mentored Research and Seminar is a course offered through CHM where students "develop an understanding of primary research in a topic area and participate in designing and conducting research that challenges and/or extends current understanding of the topic." The course can be taken for 1-6 credits and is repeatable for credit an unlimited number of times. 

• Psych 621 is the most common course taken by research credit students at CHM. 

Psychology 699 Bio/Bot/Zoo 152

Biology/Botany/Zoology 152 is an independent research project course in which students work with a researcher/mentor to complete an Independent Project (IP). The IP allows you to investigate a novel research question and communicate your findings in various ways. More information: https://introbio.integrativebiology.wisc.edu/.

• Psychology 699 must be taken with Biology/Botany/Zoology 152.

URS Program (L&S 250)

The Undergraduate Research Scholars Program is a special program for first and second-year students that involves weekly seminars led by URS Fellows and being paired with a Mentor from the UW-Madison faculty or staff for a year-long research or creative practice project. • To participate in the URS program, you must apply and be accepted into the program.

Educational Psychology 470

Dr. Sarah Short's students may take Ed Psych 470 Research Experience in Educational Psychology.
