C-Booms are primarily used for setting up hanging light fixtures.

C-Booms are stored on the C-Stand racks.

C-Boom Set Up Process

C-boom to baby adaptor

Attach the second grip head to a baby stand's pin. Tighten knobs fully before attaching or removing any light fixtures.

Lighting fixtures are attached to the first grip head. Wrap stingers over the c-boom.

When the lighting fixture is secured, hang the counterweight on the c-boom's end hook. The counterweight ensures that the stand stays balanced - you are NOT finished setting up a c-boom if you have not secured the counterweight.
