The on-air switch turns off the air in the studio to minimize ambient noise on set - you'll need to flip this switch if you're recording audio. Because the switch turns off the air, the studios can get very warm during shoots. Don't forget to bring water on set!

The on-air switches in both studios connect to on-air signs outside of the main doors. When an on-air sign is on, it means someone inside the studio is filming - to avoid disturbing their shoot, do not enter the studio until the on-air sign is off, and be very quiet when passing by.
