Pigeon Plate
Mounting plate for lighting gear.
Pigeon plates are used for mounting lighting gear.
They are useful if you need:
- A light source low to ground
- A light source in a tight space that a stand wouldn't fit
There are 3 Pigeon plates stored on top of the apple box cart outside Studio D.
The pigeon plates have a baby pin (same as a baby stand).
Here an 80C is on the pigeon plate on the floor. You wouldn't be able to get a light source so low on a stand.
