2026.05.06: [Resolved] Unable to login to Azure Portal

Starting at approximately 9:00 AM CDT on 05/06/2026, users started experiencing problems logging into the Azure portal

Users attempting to login to the Azure portal are getting stuck at https://portal.azure.com/auth/login/ and then are redirected to a “We couldn’t sign you in. Please try again” error message.

2026.05.06 5pm: We have a workaround in place and users are again able to access the Azure portal. We're keeping the case open with Microsoft so Microsoft can continue their root cause analysis.
