Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6300 on OSX Runs LiveUpdate Every Hour

Mac users who have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0.6300 may notice that LiveUpdate runs every hour and displays a window showing its results. An update is available at https://software.wisc.edu
The Symantec Scheduler will not show the default LiveUpdate settings and thus a user cannot change these settings within the program itself. Users can either download and install a new version of the installer from the link above or download and run the following script: LiveUpdate Fix to change LiveUpdate's settings to silently check for updates once a day.
