Problems Accessing WiscMail in Chrome version 29 - Resolved

This issue has been addressed in a patch applied Thursday, 9/5/2013. Users should no longer experience issues using Chrome to access WiscMail/WiscCal. Any continuing issues should be addressed by first clearing the browser cache/cookies and then by submitting a case to the HelpDesk.
Users who update their Chrome browser version to 29, released in the AM of 8/20/2013, will experience an issue loading WiscMail/WiscCal. FireFox 26 is the current Nightly build, scheduled for release in December, is also confirmed to have the same issue.Chrome allows users to authenticate to WiscMail/WiscCal, but the web interface does not successfully load or function. Some users will get a blank screen while others may be able to login with very limited functionality. It is the recommendation of the WiscMail/WiscCal team that users either:
- Use an Alternative Browser for the time being when they use the Web Client for WiscMail or WiscCal
- Use WiscMail Lite https://wiscmail.wisc.edu/lite
- Configure your account in a Supported Email Client
