- This is a proposal to develop a policy, not the draft policy.
- The proposal was reviwed by UW-MIST on January 5th, and by the Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) Steering Committee on Jan 19.

Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Policy Team (CDM)

The CDM team is a sub-team of UW-MIST, and is advisory to the CISO and IT Governance. Anyone may attend. The team has completed it work and will present the report to UW-MIST on Feb 2. For more information, contact policy@cio.wisc.edu.
Core Infrastructure Services Group (CISG)
- Jan 23, reviewed Cybersecurity Risk Management Policy. Will provide additional feedback to CISO.
- The CISG reviews and makes recommendations on campus core infrastructure operations and projects. Please see the CISG Charter for more details.
Divisional Technology Advisory Group (DTAG)

Information Technology Committee (ITC)

The ITC is the shared governance advisory body for policy and planning for information technology throughout the university. Please see the ITC Charge for more details. Anyone may attend. Meetings are on the 3rd Friday of the month, 10:00-12:00, Rm 3139 CS. (No meetings in June, July or August.)
IT Professionals Team

- Collaborative editing of the draft guidelines.
The IT Professionals team is a short-term team that is advisory to the CIO. The team is drafting guidelines, best practices, and advice for UW_Madison IT Professionals. Anyone may attend. The team meets the 2nd Monday of the month, from 2:00-3:00, Rm 2281 CS. The team plans to complete its work by the end of March 2017. For more information please contact policy@cio.wisc.edu.
Policy Planning Team (PPT)

- The PPT serves as a source of expertise on IT policy process and principles. The Team advises and assists the Office of the CIO with the iterative improvement of IT policy principles, procedures, and communications. Please see the PPT charter for more details. Anyone may attend. Faculty, staff and students at UW-Madison may join. Meetings are normally on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. To participate, contact policy@cio.wisc.edu.
Research Technology Advisory Group (RTAG)

Web and Mobile Accessibility/Usability Coordinating Group (ITAccessCG)
The group coordinates improvement of the accessibility/usability of UW-Madison web and mobile systems and services through implementation of accessibility tools; creation of best practices, standards, and shared-expertise; creation of training for developers and service providers; and measurement of accessibility of websites and mobile applications.
