Divisional Technology Advisory Group (DTAG)

  • DTAG has a campus-wide leadership role that is broad in scope and parallels the responsibilities of divisional administrative and technology leaders. See the DTAG Charter for details. Anyone may attend. The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 3:00-4:30. DTAG meeting schedule. Administrative contact.

Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG)

  • The IAG reviews and makes recommendations on campus infrastructure operations and projects. See the IAG charter for details. (The group was formerly known as the Core Infrastructure Advisory Group (CISG).) Administrative contact.

Information Technology Committee (ITC)

  • Feb 17, 10:00-12:00, Room 3139 CS.

  • The ITC is the shared governance advisory body for policy and planning for information technology throughout the university. See the ITC Charge for details. Anyone may attend. IT Professionals Team

  • The IT Professionals team is a short-term team that is advisory to the CIO. The team is drafting guidelines, best practices, and advice for UW_Madison IT Professionals. Anyone may attend. The team meets the 2nd Monday of the month, from 2:00-3:00, Rm 2281 CS. The team plans to complete its work by the end of March 2017. IT Professionals Team meeting schedule. Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC)

  • Feb 10, 11:00-12:30, 304 Middlton Bldg (1305 Linden Dr.)

  • The ITSC is the executive body that leads the strategic planning, organization, prioritization, investment, and decision-making activities in all areas of IT throughout UW-Madison. Administrative contact.

Policy Planning Team (PPT)

  • The PPT serves as a source of expertise on IT policy process and principles. The Team advises and assists the Office of the CIO with the iterative improvement of IT policy principles, procedures, and communications. See the PPT charter for details. Anyone may attend. Research Technology Advisory Group (RTAG)

  • RTAG advises the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education in meeting their responsibility to ensure that the policies, practices, and resources around research cyberinfrastructure and information technology are most effectively aligned to support and advance the vibrant research programs at the UW-Madison. See the RTAG Charter for details. Anyone may attend. The group normally meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 1:00-2:00, Rm 1360, Biotechnology Building. RTAG meeting schedule. Teaching and Learning Technology Advisory Group (TLTAG)

UW-Madison Information Security Team (UW-MIST)

  • UW-MIST is advisory to the CISO and IT Governance. See the UW-MIST Charter for details. Anyone may attend. Voting members are appointed. Faculty, staff and students at UW-Madison may join as members at large. Meetings are on the 1st Thursday of the month, 2:00-3:30, Rm 3139 CS. Contact cybersecurity@cio.wisc.edu.

Web and Mobile Accessibility/Usability Coordinating Group (Coordinating Group)

  • The group coordinates improvement of the accessibility/usability of UW-Madison web and mobile systems and services through implementation of accessibility tools; creation of best practices, standards, and shared-expertise; creation of training for developers and service providers; and measurement of accessibility of websites and mobile applications. See the Coordinating Group charter for details. Meetings are normally on the 2nd Thursday of the month, 11:00-12:00, at McBurney Center. Coordinating Group meeting schedule.
