The IT Policy Planning and Analysis Team (PAT) meets on the first Friday of the month, 1:30-3:00, in Rm 3139 CS. These meetings help determine the future direction of IT policy. You are welcome to attend.

The list of cybersecurity policies has been updated to include the relevant UW System administrative IT policies, (1000 series), and Board of Regents IT policies, (section 25).

Cybersecurity Risk Management Policy
- The Information Technology Committee (ITC) endorsed the policy on May 19. The University Committee (UC) considered it in Oct. The policy will be presented to the Faculty Senate at the February 5 meeting.

- The draft policy was reviewed by the Advanced Threat Protection Steering Committee on Sep 21, the Policy Planning and Analysis Team (PAT), on Sep 26, and the UW-Madison Information Security Team (UW-MIST) on Oct 5. The PAT is working on a cover letter to accompany the policy when it is forwarded to IT governance this winter.

The Proposal to Develop a Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Policy (CDM).
The proposal will be reviewed and submitted to IT governance this Winter.

The PAT is a subcommittee of the Information Technology Committee. The PAT assists IT governance with the execution and iterative improvement of the IT Policy Principles and Procedures. Web and Mobile Accessibility/Usability Coordinating Group (Coordinating Group)
The Coordinating Group usually meets every week or two on Thursday, 11:00-12:00, at McBurney Center. Please contact accessibility@cio.wisc.edu for confirmation. The group is currently working on:
- Position descriptions for proposed staff to support digital accessibility.
- The strategic plan for digital accessibility.
- Re-chartering of the group.
