WiscVPN - Uninstalling the Palo Alto GlobalProtect Client (iOS)

This document explains how to completely remove the Palo Alto GlobalProtect app as well as its VPN configuration in the settings.

How to Uninstall Palo Alto GlobalProtect on iOS

  1. Locate the GlobalProtect app on the home screen.

    Locate the app icon on the home screen.

  2. Press and hold a finger on the app to activate the delete function.

    Press and hold to activate delete function.

  3. Press the X on the app icon to delete it and tap "Delete" on the confirmation box.

    Click the X and delete the app.

  4. To confirm that the VPN profile was removed, go to Settings and then VPN.

    Go to the general settings and find the VPN section.

  5. If there is a GlobalProtect VPN configuration listed, click on the configuration to open it.

    Select the VPN configuration if it is there.

  6. Select Delete VPN to delete the GlobalProtect VPN configuration.

    Delete the VPN configuration.

  7. The GlobalProtect VPN configuration will be removed from the list if correctly removed.

    The VPN should be absent from the list.
