• Paula: The Double Burden of Malnutrition
According to the World Health Organization, the overall growth in global wealth has resulted in a “double burden of malnutrition”. This is to say that all around the world, especially in developing countries, people have become both overweight but lack proper nutrition.


• Carissa: Smallholders in the state of Mexico versus Jalisco
In general, I think that smallholders in Mexico are more sustainable in terms of environmental sustainability, while farmers in Jalisco are more socially sustainable. However, like anywhere, I think sustainability can vary greatly from farm to farm
