Where to Find the Suggest a Document Link
When a user clicks on any of the Suggest a document links they will be taken to the Submit or Suggest a New Document Form.
Any text in the search box will be placed in the "Suggested Keywords" field for the user convenience.
Then image below shows the Make a Suggestion form with the word "custom" pre-polulated in the Keywords field.
The user fills in the rest of the fields on the form and clicks the Submit button.
Underneath the Make a Suggestion form is Terms and conditions so the user knows what to expect. Below is the text:
Terms and Conditions: Your submitted content will be carefully evaluated by owners of this web site for relevancy and accuracy. Owners of this web site retain the rights to modify, repurpose, share, or discard your content. When you submit content to us, you also agree to submit content that is related to the subject matter of this web site only.
Link on Top of Search Box
The image below shows the word "pear" in the search box of the Office of the Registrar's KB site. Since there are no documents in that KB space with the word "pear", the words, "No matches." appear in addition to a link, "Suggest a document". This link leads to a feedback form with the keywords you entered pre-populated in that form.

The image below shows the word "custom" in the the Search field on the Live Site. This search only led to one document. Under the table where the sole document appears, the link, Suggestion a new document be created. This link leads to a feedback form with the keywords you entered pre-populated in that form.
Link when Zero Results are Returned from a Search
The image below shows the word "pear" in the search field. This search resulted in zero documents. Below the message of "No matching documents found" is the Suggest a new document created link.
Submit or Suggest a New Document Form
When a user is viewing a document, the Document Information Table is found at the bottom of the document. The Suggest a new document button is found at the bottom of that table.

Clicking on that button yields to the Make a Suggestion form. The form has a link to the document you were viewing. Fill in the form and put in as much detail as possible with your suggestion. Encourage your KB authors and consumers to make as many suggestions as possible. This is what keeps the content fresh.
