ECMS - Perceptive Experience error "Unable to load views. An error occurred communicating with the server." in Google Chrome

Error in Google Chrome "Unable to load views. An error occurred communicating with the server." when trying to access Perceptive Experience.

If you or your staff/users use the Perceptive Experience app (https://imaging.wisc.edu/perceptiveexperience/) to access documents within the Imaging system, please be aware that there appears to be an issue with the latest version of Chrome (93.0.4577.6) when trying to connect to Perceptive Experience. Doing so will result in an error message that looks like this:

unable to load views. an error occurred communicating with the server

This issue does NOT appear to exist with the previous version of chrome (92.0.4515.159), the current version of FireFox (91.02) or Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge may also continue to function properly with Perceptive Experience.

Until further information is available the Imaging Service Team recommends that if you use Chrome to access Perceptive Experience that you continue to use version 92.0.4515.159 of chrome, or you will need to use the other browsers indicated above.

We are engaging with our vendor to track this issue down further. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
