October 26 - SSCC Winstat Outage 7 AM - 9 AM

SSCC will be restarting the Winstat service to address an intermittent problem with logins. For login problems after 9 am, please contact your local technology support contact.
SSCC has announced the following service outage window:
Tomorrow morning, 7:00AM-9:00AM, we will bring down Winstat in order to address an issue that has been intermittently preventing some people from logging in. We will install software updates at the same time, including SAS 9.3 and SPSS 20.
We know that Winstat is a critical research tool for many of you, and making it as reliable as humanly possible is our top priority. If you cannot log in to Winstat for any reason, please report the problem to helpdesk@ssc.wisc.edu even during evenings and weekends. This will help our staff detect and identify problems.
(Members from SoE and WCER should report problems with their SOE-AD accounts or problems getting Winstat set up initially to the SoE or WCER help desks. But if the problem appears to be with Winstat itself, feel free to report it to the SSCC directly.)
