Changing footers, how do I do it?

What do I do when I want to change something in my footer?

It's a question we get a lot, and here is your answer. In short, you can't change your footers yourself, but your admins are happy to do it for you.

The Eloqua footers have been locked down so that only your Eloqua admins - Ryan, Monica, or Sue - can do what you want to do with footers. But that is within reason. We STRONGLY suggest that all of your social media icons, do not go in the "official" footer. What we suggest for these items is that you create a footer of sorts, within the body of your email and leave the other footer for your department name, physical address, and action links like subscribing, unsubscribing, and preferences. 

Here is an example of adding a social media "footer" within the body of the email instead of being in the official Eloqua footer:
