EPD - Teaching & Learning - Theories & Principles - Accessibility
Accessibility ensures that students are able to access online course materials and learn to their fullest potential.
Accessibility
Summary
Like physical products, technology must incorporate universal design principles to ensure that all users are able to access it. "People who interact with technology are extraordinarily diverse, with a wide variety of characteristics and contexts. It cannot be assumed that everyone is using a traditional monitor, browser, or keyboard" (UW-Madison IT, 2016).
